Pineapple-Cherry Dump Cake
I love a good dump cake!
Ingredients:
• 1 pkg yellow cake mix
• 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple
• 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
• 1 1⁄2 sticks of butter, cut into thin slices
• 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
• 1 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Grease 9” x 13” pan. Dump pineapple into the pan, add pie filling, and spread. Dump cake mix onto cherry layer, spreading evenly. Sprinkle pecans and/or flaked coconut over top (optional). Put slices of butter over the top.
2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes until brown. This is good, warm, or cool. Great served with whipped cream, Cool Whip, or vanilla ice cream.
