Hamburger Soup

Ingredients:

• 2 qts beef broth and water

• 2 beef bouillon cubes

• 1 tsp salt

• 1⁄2 tsp pepper

• 1 tsp celery salt

• 1 tsp oregano

• 1 tsp marjoram

• 1 lb ground beef

• 1 peeled and diced potato

• 1⁄2 c rinsed pearl barley

• 1 16-oz can of kidney beans

• 1⁄2 c uncooked salad macaroni

• 1 carrot, peeled and grated

• 1 c peas, canned or frozen

• 1 small (8-oz can) tomato juice

• 1 16-oz can of stewed tomatoes, blended in the blender

• 1 c canned or frozen corn

• 1⁄2 onion, chopped

• 1 c frozen string beans, chopped

• 1 stalk chopped celery

Instructions:

1. Stir broth and add water to desired consistency. Brown ground beef with onion in a frying pan.

2. Combine all ingredients and cook in a large pot for several hours, until veggies are tender.

3. Serve with crusty bread and butter. Sounds good.
