Seasoned Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs. small chicken wings, about 15.
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 T. cornstarch
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. ground ginger
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Bake wings for 30 minutes, turning once. Drain fat.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and boils, about three minutes.
- Brush some of the sauce onto the chicken wings. Return to the oven and bake for about 40 minutes. While the wings are baking, brush occasionally with the remaining sauce.
