Smoked Salmon Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 10-oz purchased fresh pizza crust
- 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1.4 c. minced red onion
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh or dried dill
- 1 tsp grated lemon peel
- 1 tsp capers, rinsed (optional)
- 4-6 oz thinly sliced smoked salmon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet and bake until the edges are crisp, about 13 minutes.
- Transfer crust to rack; cool to lukewarm.
- Blend cream cheese with the onion, dill, lemon peel, and capers. Season with salt & pepper
- Spread the cheese topping over the crust, leaving a 1-inch border. Top with salmon.
- Slice the pizza and transfer it to a platter. Serve with lemon wedges.
