 Yummy Pineapple Cake

Ingredients for cake:

• 2 cups flour

• 1 tsp baking soda

• 2 cups sugar

• 2 eggs

• 1 tsp vanilla

• 1 20-oz can crushed pineapple with juice

Ingredients for topping:

• 1⁄2 cup butter

• 1 cup sugar

• 2/3 cup evaporated milk

• 1⁄2 tsp vanilla

• 1 cup chopped pecans

• 1 cup coconut

Instructions:

1. Mix all cake ingredients together and pour into a 9 x 13-inch prepared pan.

2. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

3. While the cake is baking, prepare the topping. In a small saucepan, melt butter, then add sugar, evaporated milk, and vanilla. Bring to boil, mixing constantly. Mix in pecans and coconut.

4. Poke holes all over the cake, spread with heated topping. Cool until ready to serve.
