 TRES LECHES CAKE

Ingredients:

  • 1 Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 3⁄4 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4eggs
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1⁄4 cup sugar

Instructions:

1. Mix cake ingredients and beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes.

2. Bake at 350 degrees for 28-30 minutes in a greased 13" x 9" pan.

3. Check for doneness by sticking a toothpick in the center of the cake.

4. Combine 3 milks in a separate bowl.

5. Poke holes in the hot cake just out of the oven using a fork.

6. Pour milk mixture over cake while still hot.  Let cool for 1-2 hours.

7. Beat whipping cream, and add sugar.

8. Spread evenly over the cake once it is cooled.

9. Refrigerate before serving.

Optional: add fresh strawberries on top of each piece before serving.
