Lemon Brownies

Ingredients:

• 3⁄4 cup all-purpose flour

• 3⁄4 cup white sugar

• 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter,

softened

• 1⁄2 tsp sea salt

• 3 eggs

• 2 tbsp lemon juice

• 1 tbsp lemon zest, plus

more the icing

Icing:

• 1 cup confectioners' sugar

• 1⁄4 cup lemon juice

• 1⁄4 tsp vanilla

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8-inch square baking

dish.

2. In a large bowl, beat flour, sugar, butter and sea salt, using

electric mixer.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, lemon juice and lemon zest.

Mix into flour mixture on medium speed until smooth, about 3

minutes.

4. Pour batter into prepared baking dish. Bake in preheated

oven until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 23

to 25 minutes. Cool until bottom of dish is warm to the touch.

5. For the glaze, whisk confectioners sugar, lemon juice, vanilla

and lemon zest in a bowl until smooth. Spread over brownies,

sprinkle with lemon zest.

Note: To make a larger batch, double ingredients, and use a 9”

x 13” pan.
