 CANDIED TOMATOES

Ingredients:

6 ripe tomatoes

1⁄2 cup olive oil

Salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2. Slice tomatoes in half crosswise.

3. Place on a baking sheet, cut side up. Try putting parchment paper on the pan to avoid messy cleanup.

4. Drizzle oil over tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt.

5. Bake for about 2 hours, until tomatoes are wrinkled on the outside, but still somewhat moist in the center.

6. Serve warm or cool.
