Baked Apple Fritters 

Ingredients:

Fritters

• 1 16 oz. tube original flaky biscuits

• 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar 

• 1 tsp. cinnamon

• 1 Cup chopped apple

• 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Glaze:

• 1 1⁄4 Cups confectioners' sugar

 • 1⁄4tsp.vanilla 

• 3-6 tsp. water


Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cut each of the 8 biscuits into 10 pieces.

3. Combine the biscuit pieces, sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Stir in chopped apple.

4. Drop the dough by 1⁄4 cup on a parchment-lined baking sheet, pressing each into a 3-inch fritter.

5. Drizzle the melted butter over the fritters.

6. Bake for 14-17 minutes, or until golden brown.

7. Prepare the glaze by combining the sugar, vanilla, and 3 Tbsp. water. Add more water, 1 tsp. at a time, until a pourable consistency is reached.

8. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled baked fritters and let them dry.
